Terms of use
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These terms govern your use of the Memtru website and hosted service at memtru.com (the "Service"), operated by the individual who runs Memtru (the "Operator", "we"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The Service
Memtru helps you test memory systems used by AI agents. The command-line tool runs the tests in your environment; the Service stores reports you choose to upload and shows them in a dashboard. The Service is offered as an early release and may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. The Service is currently free of charge. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and you can decide whether to continue.
2. Accounts
You must give accurate information, keep your password and API tokens confidential, and tell us promptly at security@memtru.com if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account and tokens. You must be at least 16 years old.
3. Authorized testing only
Use Memtru only against systems you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Do not use it to access, probe or disrupt systems or data of others without permission. Use synthetic data; do not upload real personal data or secrets in reports.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- break the law, or infringe the rights of others, through the Service;
- attempt to access accounts, organizations or data that are not yours;
- interfere with the Service, overload it, or bypass its limits or security controls;
- upload malware or content designed to attack users of the dashboard;
- resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.
5. Your content
Reports, project settings and other content you upload remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only to provide and secure the Service for you and the members of your organization. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy policy. Uploaded runs are kept for your project's retention period and can be deleted by an organization owner.
6. The command-line tool
The Memtru command-line tool and Python package are licensed separately under the Memtru CLI License included with the package (see pypi.org/project/memtru).
7. Our property
The Service, its software, design and documentation belong to the Operator. These terms do not grant you any rights to them except to use the Service as described here. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account at contact@memtru.com. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the Service or others at risk, and we may end the Service with reasonable notice where possible.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Test results describe the scenarios that ran against the surfaces you configured. They are not a security guarantee, certification, audit or proof of compliance, and a passing run does not mean a system cannot leak or retain data. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. The Operator's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will compensate the Operator for claims and costs arising from your breach of these terms or from testing systems you were not authorized to test.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice on this page or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you a right to bring a claim locally.
